Holm - Music for astronauts (FST 024) CDEP & 7"
We are very proud to present the first release in cooperation with the Mainz-based label Wohnton. The result is the fantastic first output by London based singer HOLM. It kicks off with a real monster of song – "Afterglow": you may think Morrissey, Edwyn Collins or a man like Neil Hannon teamed up with the rhythmsection of St. Etienne or The Pet Shop Boys. This tune will enter the dancefloors all over the world, that's for sure! The next two tracks ("Last Summer" & "Here comes the sun") are pure popclassics, which will take you back to the good old days of The Smiths. At the end there is an unbelievable version of the Abba-classic "Dancing Queen" - it is a must to check it out! Apart from the CDS-release you can hear the titletrack "Afterglow" on a limited 7". It feat. another great track "My word", which can`t be found on the CD version. Holm will come over to Germany with his band for some dates in february – so don't miss it!
