Lets Go Naked CD
This is 16 track career retrospective (1985 - 2006) covering singles, selected album tracks, unreleased gems and 2 new songs from Brisbane's Lets Go Naked. I hope you liked the Lets Go Naked tracks on the recent Egg compilation and give this a listen, the early tracks, from the "Everything" album on Waterfront Records, sees Lets Go Naked as exponents of the Brisbane sound, with an angular, driven guitar style, incorporating keyboard sounds for certain tracks, think the Go Betweens early records*. The late eighties and nineties found Lets Go Naked exploring this sound, recorded intermittently, songs such as "Hudson" and "How Can That Be", are different from what had gone before but still refreshing and distinctive. I can hear elements of The Chills in some tracks.
