Re: SF Popfest, Day One
The Human Television were great. If you have that chance to see them
live, don't make Bob's mistake. ;)
I especially liked the Bunnygrunt set as I have been a fan for a long
time and never got to see them play live. They were so fun and full
of energy and you could tell they were so happy to be playing the
show. They played some old songs including Transportation Pants, No
Name Slob and Here Come the Vampires. Great set.
Red Pony Clock were excellent. I have heard Laura describe them as
indiepop mixed with polka, which is a good description. Lots of fun
and very unique.
I enjoyed the California Oranges, but must say I was hoping to hear
some songs from the first album. Oh well, they rocked it anyway.
